Mrs. Tina Wnuk is going to be the next principal at New Haven High School for the 2019-2020 academic year. The interviewing committee (a group of staff members in charge of selecting the new principal) interviewed four applicants for the position and said that Mrs. Wnuk stood out to them.
Committee members that were surveyed had positive thoughts about Mrs. Wnuk. They liked how she had so many years of experience as a teacher and how she responded to the students.
One of the interviewers said, “Two things stood out about her. The first is the fact that she taught for sixteen years, so she understands how the teachers and students feel. The second is how she approached and interacted with parents and students during times of discipline.”
When asked what stood out about Mrs. Wnuk, another interviewer responded with, “With Mrs. Wnuk, I liked how she had so many years as a teacher. I also liked how she responded to the kids. I felt like she just had a really good, positive presence.”
Another committee member responded with, “I was really inspired by her. She has a lot of experience as a teacher and it seems like she cared a lot about the kids. I also like that academics seem to be a high priority for her.”
Mrs. Wnuk clearly had many positive reviews from the committee that interviewed her.
Welcome to New Haven Middle and High School, Mrs. Wnuk!
