NHMS December Student of the Month is Maria Vedder. Maria is the daughter of Clifton and Tracy Vedder. She is involved in basketball, track and field, choir, band, and is the vice president of the National Junior Honor Society.
Outside of school, Maria spends time farming and fishing. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dairy cattle. She also likes the responsibility of being her dad's "big help" on the farm when her brothers aren't able to be there.
