On January 15, 2019 a detective with the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a resident of the 1600 block of Flottman Road. The home owner told the detective he was awoken on January 4, 2019 at around 4:00am to a noise in his attached garage. The home owner observed a male exit his garage and get into a Dodge pickup truck and leave the residence. The home owner told the detective he started to follow the vehicle until he realized he did not have his phone to call law enforcement. While the home owner was following the vehicle he was able to get a partial license plate off it. The detective was able to identify a possible suspect off the truck description and partial license plate.
The suspect was arrested on January 15 on an unrelated offence, and while incarcerated at the Franklin County Adult Detention Facility admitted to detectives that he was the one inside the garage on the night of January 4. The suspect admitted during the interview he entered the garage located in the 1600 block of Flottman Road with the intent to steal items from the garage.
A warrant was issued for Jacob T. Feth on May7, 2019 for Burglary 1st with the bond being set at $20,000.
