On 02/13/2020, Detectives with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were following leads in reference to a burglary investigation at a residence off of Spring Valley Rd. near Pacific Mo. Upon arriving at the residence, investigators immediately recognized an LS Brand Tractor in the driveway stolen in October 2019, from a church in the Villa Ridge Mo. A search warrant was obtained for the address, during the search of the property, Investigators located a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine, as well as a single shot .410 shotgun. The property owner was found to be a convicted felon through the State of Missouri and on Probation for assault and domestic assault. The suspect was taken into custody for stealing, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm. On 2/24/2020 warrant was issued for stealing and unlawful possession of a firearm against 36 year old Ronald Cline Jr. from Pacific Mo. A bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. All subjects are presumed innocent before proven guilty. | On February 16th 2020, at approximately 11:34 pm Deputies of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office received information from the Washington Police Department regarding a shooting incident. The officer reported they had just conducted a traffic stop involving two individuals with injury claiming they had been shot. Washington PD stated they were responding with the victims to Mercy Washington Hospital. Upon the arrival of the deputies at the hospital, contact was made with the victims described as a 16 year old female and 17 year old male both from the St. Louis area. Both victims admitted to responding to an address in Robertsville, Mo. in the attempt to sell Marijuana to the suspect(s). The male victim claimed when they arrived and pulled into the driveway at the residence they were approached by two males. One male pulled a firearm ordering the victim to give him the Marijuana. As the male victim grabbed the firearm, the suspect discharged the firearm striking the male victim in his right hand. After the bullet traveled through his hand, it struck the female causing injury to her lower torso, upper thigh and her right hand. The injuries was non-life threatening. Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Sunset Avenue located in the Robertsville area where the alleged incident occurred. Upon arrival there were several individuals inside the residence. A search warrant of the residence was granted and the firearm was located hidden in the residence. One suspect identified as; Servando Padilla, a 17 year old male from the St. Louis area was placed under arrest. A warrant was issued on Padilla for the following charges; Two counts of Felony Assault 1st with serious physical injury, Felony Attempted Robbery 1st degree and Felony Armed Criminal Action bond was set at $500,000.00. This case is still under investigation. All parties are considered innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. |
