![]() On October 16, 2018 at approximately 8:50 am, Franklin County communications received a call from a home owner who reported that he was holding a subject at gun point that had broken into his home. Deputies and the Sullivan Police Department responded to the 30 block of Glaser Road, Sullivan, MO. Upon arrival, Law Enforcement officers took a 23 year old male into custody without incident. The home owner reported that he was upstairs sleeping when he heard someone kick the door in. The home owner went downstairs to find a male in the bathroom taking a shower. The home owner called the male out of the bathroom. The male subject was detained until law enforcement arrived. There were also personal items that belonged to the home owner on the subjects person. Warrants were issued against James D. Martin, unknown address for 1st degree Burglary with bond set at $20,000 cash. All person are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
