- An outfit for each day-- something comfortable for walking.
- Two pairs of good walking shoes-- that way you have a back-up if your shoes get really wet.
- A nice outfit for both Broadway and Peking Gourmet.
- Pocket ponchos: those are easier to carry around than an umbrella.
- A few jackets/hoodies: they can be worn for multiple days at a time.
- A trash bag to put your dirty clothes in.
- Hygiene items/toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrush, etc.
- A portable charger for your phone: taking a lot of pictures and texting back home will drain your battery.
- A watch: if your phone dies, you will still be able to make sure you are on time.
- Any medications you take on a daily basis.
- ID and medical card.
Although these items (along with many others) are important, make sure not to over-pack! You need to save room for souvenirs. It is also recommended to bring something to do on the bus. But most importantly-- bring a good attitude! You don’t want to spoil someone else’s time on the trip because you brought a bad mood.
