 Lesly Gerlemann is the January Student of the Month for New Haven High School. She is the daughter of RaeDonna and Tim Gerlemann. Lesly is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, and National Honor Society. In volleyball, she received Academic All-Conference in her junior and senior years and Academic All-State in her senior year. In basketball, she received Academic All-Conference in her junior year. In track, she earned Academic All-Conference in her junior year and made the honor roll every semester. Outside of school, Lesly enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, being outside, and eating yummy food. She also enjoys taking rides to their farm. Lesly likes playing badminton with her sister, Lauren, which always makes them laugh. She likes being a Shamrock because she knows that the teachers and people around her will help her throughout her high school career. When she has a question, they are always very helpful. Lesly also loves sports because they have taught her to always strive for something higher. Never settle for less—anything is possible, whether it's in a game or in life. Lesly’s favorite subject in school is anatomy because she can name almost everything in the human body. After high school, Lesly plans to attend the University of Central Missouri in the fall, majoring in Elementary Education to become a teacher. Lesly’s teachers report that she gets along well with others and continuously puts forth effort no matter what she does. Congratulations, Lesly!
 Randall Pierce is the January Student of the Month for New Haven Middle School. He is the son of Chelsie Lause. RJ enjoys participating in Spirit Weeks at school. He loves taking walks and meeting different people. His favorite classes are FACS, social studies, science, and English. One of RJ’s peers said that every day he is kind and willing to help anybody who needs it. He has very good attendance and always completes his homework. His teachers agree that RJ is a wonderful student who works hard every day. He is always present and positive, even when he doesn't want to be. Congratulations, RJ!
